This is Twitter. I adopted her during the COVID-19 lockdowns. She was alone in a pet store in Poulsbo, and had been for about a month. To a budgie, this is a very long time.
Twitter loves music and singing. She knows some words and phrases. She enjoys dancing to the music. Budgies can dance to a beat. Twitter twirls to a beat. Her favorite artists are Green Day and The Ramones.
Twitter will nap every afternoon, at about 2 pm. If you put her in with 1,000 other blue budgies, I could tell it was her if she is asleep at about 2 pm, and if one of the birds gets very happy when “American Idiot” comes on the radio. That’s Twitter.
